As the temperatures rise in the UK, I’m starting to think about my summer holidays and more importantly what to wear.
I generally buy petite friendly clothes as there’s a bigger selection of style and colours to choose from.
An easy way to check if a dress or skirt is petite friendly is to check where the hem sits on the model in relation to her knees.
I love the below items from www.bonprix.co.uk as they all sit a good few inches above the knee on the model and sizes start from a UK size 6/8.
I love wearing jersey as it’s so comfortable. Floral prints are a big fashion trend for Spring/Summer 2013 and this dress hits the spot. Floral prints are also great for helping to hide any lumps and bumps.
I can imagine myself wearing this dress on the beach or whilst site seeing. I’d team this dress with red or teal accessories for a pop of colour.
The thought of sun makes me want to wear a strapless dress. I love the flattering draping detail which hides any lumps and bumps and the gorgeous sweetheart neck line.
This versatile dress can worn in the day or evening. Convert it into a skirt simply by adding a vest top.
I have a thing for bows and love the look of this dress. I can imagine myself wearing it in the summer evenings or eating al fresco.
The bow mimicks the look you get when you style your jumper over your shoulders. Something I do all the time when I’m on my hols.
The bow also draws attention to the upper half of your body making it ideal for anyone who likes to hide their bottom half.
