US retailer, Target has introduced a new range of petite clothes which are exclusively available online. The Labworks for Target collection features 20 lines of clothing in neutral colours.  It’s available in 6 petite sizes XS – XXL.  At the moment there is a sale on, so prices range from $24.99 to $42.

The designs are  in available in regular women’s sizes (XS – XXL) and also in plus sizes (1-4).

Unfortunately there in no indication on how the XS – XXL sizes relate to normal dress sizes.  I tried to click on the buying guide to find out more information and received an error message.

As this is US based company and the shipping cost will be high, unfortunately I won’t be purchasing any pieces to try on and review.  However if you’re US based, I’d love to hear your views on what you think about this new petite range.

Here are a few of my favourites from this range.  I love the the  Sleeveless Twist Front Dress in black which is currently retailing at $38.

Which is your favourite item?

  • oh, I didn’t know about this! Thanks for letting us know. I wonder why it’s online only, i’d prefer to just try it on in store. hmmm… still some cute styles, I may try and order some stuff!

    • Retailers have online items for 3 mains reasons. 1. To encourage shoppers to buy online. 2. To ensure that not everyone you see is wearing the same piece of clothing. 3. To enable the store to order & supply a smaller quantity of items from the supplier and keep costs low. If the items were available in store, the they would have to order more and find space to stock it instore. In addition, they will have more of it to sell at sale time, reducing their profit margin.
