So, I’m thinking I will look like I’m drowning in the oversized coat….

    • If you’re petite, you will!

      • Seana Turner

yep… at 5’3″ i’m the tallest woman in my family… the rest range from 5’2″ down to just under 5’…. I feel like we need to shop in a different universe – including shoes!

        • Welcome to the club! I have just written 2 blog posts for next week which will address where to buy petite clothes and petite winter boots 🙂

          • Seana Turner

I will be keeping my eyes open for that:)

  • Rachel Ramey

Oversized coats…WHY? Who ever decided that wearing a coat that looks like it belongs to an NFL football player (for size) would be a good thing? I think I’ll stick to clothes that fit.

  • LOVE the blue dress… and I am glad to know that the evergreen black is always a must! I don’t think I would wear that oversize coat however…

    • Thanks for commenting Clara. I agree. The blue dress is stunning. Over sized coats are a no no for me too!

  • Margaret Heisworkingitout Reed

Awesome, LOVE that gold and blue! I would wear that,

  • Can’t say I have a favorite, but I’m glad to see a bit more attitude 🙂

  • These are very different. I’m liking the texture one. The oversized coat is a bit much, but I’m sure someone loves it! 🙂

    • Texture make an outfit more fun. It seems that oversized coats are a no no so far.

  • Busy Mom Monologue

I love winter, and the new trends on Fashion the bring!

  • Margaret Heisworkingitout Reed

I love winter white though I do not see it as much any more…my mom use to love it. I also love texture not bold or overly done…When I were it on clothing it is usuallybraised needle work. Enjoyed the post…sharing it for you.

    • Thanks for commenting and sharing Margaret 🙂

I like many of these outfits – not a great fan of the chunky footwear and the oversized coats, but the rest look great! Thanks for sharing, Carol!

    • Thanks for commenting. Hmm, it seems no one is a fan of the oversized coat!

  • Lisa Mallis

I love the textured skirt in the last photo! Though I love looking at winter white, I’m always hesitant to wear it . . . as most of the winter I have snow and slush on the streets and I’m afraid my pants will get spotted up the back of the leg as I walk!

    • Winter whites can be hard to wear. You could try wearing it on your top half so that you don’t have any splashed.
